Dry manicure in Graz
Every set at NailPark starts with a dry manicure. It's the reason your gel lasts and the line at the cuticle looks so neat.
What is it?
Your hands don't go into water, and I don't cut the cuticle with nippers. Instead, I gently work with an e-file and fine bits and clean the cuticle very close to the nail, without hurting living skin.
How it goes
- I sanitize your hands.
- I gently buff the nail plate, so the base holds.
- I push back the cuticle, lift it and clean it with the e-file.
- Then base, builder gel, color and top.
Why dry?
Wet nails swell a little and then shrink again under the gel. That's when gel starts to lift. Done dry, it simply lasts longer.
Gel can also go closer to the cuticle, so regrowth is less visible. And with almost no cutting, your cuticle grows back thinner over time.
Does it hurt?
No, and you never need to endure anything. If it feels warm or tickles too much, just pull your hand back and I'll adjust.
