Korean Nails by NAILPARK in Graz
Leonhardstrasse 23, 8010
Hi, I'm Taisiya, and NailPark is my nail studio in the city center of Graz β¨
π Tram 1 / 7 / 17 β Lichtenfelsgasse / KunstuniversitΓ€t
At NailPark, the focus is on high-quality manicure, clean and aesthetic results, and a calm, beautiful atmosphere. Every set is done with care β thinking about detail, durability, and nail health, not rush or trends.
Hygiene is taken very seriously here
All tools are carefully cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized according to Austrian hygiene regulations (Wirtschaftskammer Γsterreich guidelines).
Clean work = healthy nails. Always.
There are many ways to prepare a nail for your future set β you might have heard about Russian manicure, also known as dry manicure. That's the technique I work with.
After sanitizing your hands, I'll gently buff the nail plate (especially if it's our first set). This is important to ensure a good bond between your natural nail and the base layer.
Next, I carefully push the cuticle back, use a small flame bit to lift it, and then a different bit (a sphere) to clean it up.
If you ever feel heat, discomfort, or it's just too ticklish β you can always pull your hand back. Beauty does not mean pain here. You never need to "just endure it".
βοΈ What about scissors or nippers?
You might have heard about wet manicure as well. To be honest, I rarely use cutting tools β only in cases where a lot of filing would otherwise be needed. Cutting is not my standard.
Every nail tech in Austria must follow strict hygiene regulations. Cutting in my studio is uncommon, but in cases like biting nails or when the cuticle was rarely pushed back before, capillaries can grow together with the cuticle β and then cutting may happen.
π§Ό Instruments & Hygiene
All metal tools (bits, scissors, etc.) go through: enzyme cleaning β ultrasonic bath β drying β sterilization pouches (dated) β hot-air sterilizer.
Single-use items like files, wooden sticks, dust brushes, wipes are used once only.
No matter where you book nails β always check that your nail tech opens the sterilization pouch in front of you. Please don't hesitate to ask me (or any nail tech!) about hygiene.
Fun fact: in one year, only one client ever asked me about this β and yes, even nurses and doctors rarely do.
Moms especially: ask twice. Cleanliness matters. Here's what goes on your nails, layer by layer:
Base coat
Slightly acidic, used for proper bonding between nail and gel
Primer
Added if I see your nails are more oily/wet
Strengthening / Hard gel (builder gel)
Gives structure, prevents breaking, helps grow nails out. Can be skipped if you want to keep nails very short.
The same gel is used for extensions β self-explanatory π
Color gel
Hard gel can be colored too. I mostly do custom mixes, but I also keep about 6 classic shades. It's usually a bit transparent β I like that because nail growth is less visible.
Have a specific color in mind or want to bring your own polish? I love color matching β honestly one of my favorite parts.
Top gel
Finish line β glossy or matte, your choice.
